DESCRIPTION: Tideway Cottage located on the water in
Tremont, once was a boathouse and was remodeled in 2008 into a
beautiful multi-level cottage. Offering all the modern conveniences of
home and a few extras. Enjoy your days sitting in the sun room or the
convenience of being able to launch your kayak at high tide right from
the house. There is a fenced in side yard perfect for the kids or to
barbecue. Also convenient for the kids is the local elementary school
playground right across the street. Also just across the street for
those that want to explore Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park
for the day you can catch the free
Island Explorer bus.
LAYOUT: Tideway:
Is located on the waterside side of this cottage. The living room opens
up into a large sun room complete with gas run fireplace and views up
the harbor to Bass Harbor. The kitchen offers amenities such as granite
counter tops, microwave and a 2 drawer dishwasher. There are water
views from the dining room which offers ample seating for 8. There is
also a 1/2 bath and a large sitting room with wet bar. 2ND LEVEL: Master bedroom with a
king size bed and harbor views. Bedroom with two twin beds and a shared
bath with a jacuzzi tub. A small laundry room with stack washer &
dryer. There is also garage space available. SLEEPS 4 MAX
Eagles
Nest: On the next level up
is an efficiency apartment complete with a small kitchen that includes
two burners, under the counter refrigerator and a coffee pot. There is
a queen bed and 3/4 bath with shower only. You also have harbor views
from this level. SLEEPS 2 MAX
Captains Quarters: Located on the upper section of
this cottage, there is a large bedroom with a queen size bed and a
second bedroom with a double bed. There is also a full bath with tub
and separate shower. Lofted window seat accessible by ladder. SLEEPS
4
Eagles Nest and Captains Quarters offers separate entrances as
well as accessibility through Tideway. This is perfect for those larger
parties that may be coming and going separately.
Prices are based on rental
of Tideway only with additional rates for adding Eagles Nest and/or
Captain's Quarters.
